Buccellati reinterprets their iconic Caviar motif and creates the new Muse jewellery collection

The soul of the Caviar motif, an intricate texture of tiny spheres that evokes the delicate granularity of caviar, has always been a distinctive pillar of Buccellati’s aesthetic.

An enchanting visual and tactile harmony,
where metal transforms into a precious "fabric", capable of capturing and reflecting light with a unique magic. This iconic design finds one of its finest expressions in the 1981 "Cratere delle Muse", a work by Gianmaria Buccellati that, with its combination of silver, gold, Jade, and Sapphires,
embodies the purest goldsmithing tradition.
It is from this cup, which is now part of the Fondazione Gianmaria Buccellati, that the new collection takes its evocative name: "Muse", a tribute to eternal inspiration.

While the motif has, until now, been expressed primarily in the Maison’s silver collections, today Andrea Buccellati brings it into the world of jewellery.

This is a true transfiguration, where the introduction of precious stones breathes new life and colour into the design. Pendants, bracelets, cufflinks, earrings and a ring are adorned with Rubies, Sapphires, and Tsavorites, masterfully alternated to transform the motif from a metallic monochrome into a vibrant, multifaceted palette, a celebration of joy and light. This
bold integration of coloured gemstones reflects the Maison’s unparalleled savoir-faire: each stone is carefully selected and set
with absolute precision, almost as if replicating the precious granularity of caviar, highlighting Buccellati’s unique ability to combine technique and art in creations that are truly wearable sculptures.
